For example, if you are in a book shop and she is looking at a book on cooking, ask her what she thinks of that book. Is it worthwhile?

Conversations develop naturally. Do not push it. Get to know her before you decide that you like her.

Of course, there is a whole lot more to it, however these are good basics to start with. If you are using gradients eventually you will know how to meet women.
