A new lumbar support seating system created for underground mine workers working loaders and haul vehicles is resulting in reduced injuries and also tiredness.

Perth-based Modern Motor Trimmers (MMT), which specialises in suspension seats and seating items for the mining sector, has put in over five years creating the pneumatically-operated double air lumbar seat support.

The two-stage lumbar support system is built-into the backrest of a premium-quality T back seats.
